Aguirre Sworn In as Chapala Mayor Again

Re-elected Chapala Mayor Alejandro de Jesús Aguirre Curiel was sworn in for his third term on Monday, September 30. The ceremony, marking the start of his 2024-2027 municipal administration, took place at the Center for Culture and Arts of La Ribera (CCAR) at 6:30 p.m.

Aguirre was re-elected as Municipal President on June 2, securing 10,694 votes. His closest competitor, Juan de Dios (Bebo) García Velasco from Morena, received 8,143 votes.
